APPARTAMENTO PM-16
Renovation
The apartment originally featured a traditional layout with a large, underutilized entrance, followed by a long corridor with no natural light. The solution for this project stemmed from the idea of replacing the corridor wall with a double-sided bookshelf, permeable to light. This bookshelf served two purposes: on one side, it provided ample storage for the books of the clients, and on the other, it allowed us to create a dynamic space with a contemporary feel, where the distribution paths, which were originally well-defined, blended seamlessly with the other areas of the home. By reconfiguring the spaces, it was also possible to add a third bedroom, which was turned into a study.
